Who we are

With over 30 years of combined nonprofit experience, Bre and Kim bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to every project they undertake, fostering meaningful connections and creating impactful change. Their expertise spans program development, strategic planning, fundraising development and community engagement, ensuring that every initiative is thoughtfully executed and impactful. Together, they are committed to empowering individuals and organizations to thrive, making a lasting difference in the communities they serve.

Born and raised in Sykesville, MD,  Breanna (Bre) moved to Jacksonville, FL and attended the University of North Florida. It was in Jacksonville where she found her love for service, yoga and travel. Breanna graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health, majoring in Community Health and minoring in Exercise Science. She began volunteering for nonprofits in college and shortly after finding her yoga practice, she began to fundraise for nonprofits whose missions she believed in. She raised money to help build a community center in Kenya, raised $20,000 to be dispersed between 5 nonprofits in India helping young girls who survived human trafficking including Her Future Coalition (a nonprofit she still maintains connection with - ask about trips!), and participated in walks and 5ks locally. She traveled to Mysore, India in 2016 to practice Ashtanga Yoga and when she returned began her journey of working with nonprofits helping to research, write and manage grants, build fundraising campaigns, create and manage events, volunteer management, and all other development buckets to help increase revenue. Since working in the nonprofit sector, she has made a significant impact as an integral part of expanding a nonprofit from one county to statewide, doubling the annual budget, and affording nonprofits the financial security to hire multiple staff members.

Outside of her daily work,  Breanna loves traveling to experience new culture, lying on the beach, SUPing or reading in her hammock!

Kim Simon was born and raised in North Florida and is always seeking ways to be more involved in its sustainability and growth.
She graduated from University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minor in Education, and from Northwestern University with a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration, Nonprofit Management track. For 15 years, Kim has worked for local organizations on issues like substance use and mental health, equity in food, housing and education, criminal justice reform, and civil rights and liberties. Her experience spans every level and skill set, from Volunteer Leader and Advocate to Mentor and Director. Some of Kim’s recent successes include securing support for an amendment to restore voting rights to 1.4 million of Florida’s citizens, planning galas that raised approximately $200k each in funds for necessary community services, developing multi-year strategic plans to set up businesses for success, establishing peer-led mentorship programs to increase engagement and connection, exceeding programming/participation goals by double, and living by trauma-informed practices that have cultivated greater employee satisfaction.

Outside of her daily work, Kim can be found seeking out the best foodie spots, walking a trail with her partner, listening to live music, reading, traveling, and volunteering with Rotary and other nonprofits in North Florida.
